My Promise: Caring For Your Paperballet.ca Sculpture

Ballet II Sculpture (2025) (right) is the second in a series of sculptures based on a line drawing by Pablo Picasso of three ballerinas. Ballet I was the first to be completed and was gifted to friends. Another slightly-larger Ballet I is under construction.

Some of my sculptures have thick bodies. Scorpion Snake sculpture ($200), Spiral Bird sculpture (sold), O’Pelican sculpture ($200). . .(40-50cm tall)

Other Thick Bodied sculptures include: The Offering sculpture ($100), Flower Girl sculpture ($250), Twist sculpture, and Leaping V sculpture.

Starting in 2021, i began experimenting with Bending Paper--(where a sculpture begins life flat, a single layer of paper on a table, which is then gradually bent into its final shape as additional layers are added. Great for wings and leaves as shown below.

Snail On Water Sculpture (2021) could also be called Splash or Leaping Snail. Originally hung in the wall (right), but converted to a table top and added the snail shell.

Purple Bug sculpture (sold) and Meteor Flower sculpture looked exactly alike for the first week–both with six petals/legs. Both these sculptures are excellent candidates for re-painting.
