After making a series of Embrace Life sculptures, i was looking for another motif and stumbled across the lovely eye of a peacock feather. I suspect the Japan Air Lines logo had the same inspriration.

The first reach sculpture was tentatively called, Prayer. But i soon moved from arms to more like wings. The secret sauce of the reach sculptures is the relationship between the wings and the center piece. About a foot tall.

Then Tall Reach (2018) (Height: 18 inches)

Golden Falcon Sculpture (2018) From here on all the reach sculptures had bird-like heads, including the Standing Falcon sculpture (2018) (right).

This as-yet unnamed sculpture is my most recent reach sculpture. Much taller (at 23 inches) and lots more to see, but still reaching.

I also made an extra small reach sculpture with a crystal for a head. I found the crystal on the beach five years after i started the sculpture!

And a reach sculpture for the wall (2018) based on a sculpture called, Whale Crossing (right):
